Toast To Wishes: The Masquerade
Toast To Wishes: The Masquerade
When the weather starts getting a little crisp and leaves start to turn; we know that Halloween is just around the corner. One of the great things about Halloween are the festivities we get to attend. This year we got to start our Halloween fun with Make a Wish for their Toast to Wishes: The Masquerade fundraiser.
Toast to Wishes is an annual fundraiser to raise millions of dollar to help grant wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Each year of Toast to Wishes parties are sold out; with over 600 young professionals, doing their part to raise funds for a great cause and have fun in the process.
This year was no exception. The theme, The Masquerade was held at the Flash Factory, was a success and an event to remember. The Flash Factory was the perfect venue for this type of experience. It's a massive NYC nightspot with gorgeous reclaimed architectural features that make it one of a kind and really added to the the Toast to Wishes night.
The festivities started with a VIP Champagne Soirée sponsored by Perrier-Jouët and the rest of the night sponsored by Patron Tequila. It was wonderful to see attendees wearing mask while enjoying the whimsical & carnival-like theatrics of the night. There were aerial silk dancers, who danced on silk draped from the ceiling, dancers on stills with sparklers, light dancers in bubbles performing around the dance floor, a Photo Booth and a dance party with awesome music from DJ Rick Wonder.
All and all it was a fantastic night and great way to raise money for kids who need it. Check out some photos of our night at Make a Wish's Toast to Wishes, The Masquerade party.
